About & approach

Chapter One

My career began in November 2012 as Head of the Department of English and HSST English teacher, where I spent five and a half years designing language enrichment activities that lifted student engagement and proficiency well beyond the syllabus.

In 2018 I moved into school leadership as Headmistress, shaping academic initiatives around a simple idea: a school works best when it is dynamic, inclusive, and genuinely responsive to the range of students inside it. Since 2022 I've carried that into the Principal's office at Esperto Global School, alongside continuing to teach English myself — I've never wanted to lead a classroom I've stepped away from.

Alongside school life, I founded Beacon in 2016, an online academy that has taught spoken English to kids, teens and adults, and I regularly run training sessions for teachers and orientation programs for parents and students.
